A Texas Table with a French Accent
Rooted in Downtown Paris, Texas
Our history began in 1916 when the building was designed by Curtis, Broad, and Lightfoot to serve Lamar County as Ludwick Grocery. Since then, this piece of history has served many ventures over the years before being purchased by 247 Mesa. In July 2025, we proudly opened BonFire to continue the story as a place for people to experience crafted cuisine that nurtures both the body and the planet.

Our Brand
Our open hearth and grill are central, both literally and symbolically, to our identity. In a town shaped by the 1916 fire that devastated much of Paris, this flame takes on new meaning: not destruction, but warmth, gathering, and rebirth. Bon, meaning “good,” helps reframe fire as something optimistic—an engine for renewal and a nod to the long human tradition of cooking over flame.
